Michael Thomas, the only LTHS Board member running for reelection, suggests the district form a COVID-19 task force, comprised of parents, students, staff, epidemiologists and other medical professionals, to really study new practices. ![]() Candidate Jill Grech from La Grange said, getting more students back on campus “can’t happen fast enough.” The oldest of her three children is a freshman this year at LTHS.Ī good first step toward that goal would be to survey parents to “see how many kids would really come back,” Grech said.Īs of March 1, 58 % of LTHS students are at school for in-person instruction two days a week in the hybrid model, district officials said.
